Harmonica Creams
Once upon a time, there was a blues that crossed the oceans to the Land of the Rising Sun, and there, thanks to the visionary spirit of three out-of-chorus musicians, it contaminated nothing less than Celtic music.
This is the folk tale of Harmonica Creams, the Japanese band that, combining the eclectic timbres of harmonica, violin and guitar, sometimes even joining the drums, fuse acoustics and electronics to create a unique sound, perfectly balanced between chaos and harmony.
The first Asian band to have won the Festival de Ortigueira contest in 2012 and the Festival Interceltique in Lorient in 2018, sacred temples of Celtic music and culture in the world, they boast collaborations with big names in the traditional scene such as flutist Brian Finnegan of Flook and Scottish piper Calum Stewart.
With seven albums under their belt, released worldwide, Harmonica Creams are coming to Italy for the first time. A fascinating story that could not continue without the chapter entitled Montelago.
