Elephant Sessions
From their humble beginnings in the Scottish Highlands back in 2012, Elephant Sessions have come a long way, playing on stages all over the globe, such as the superb Glastonbury and Celtic Connections in Europe or the overseas Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia.
By combining mandolin and fiddle with a backline of bass and drums, their music creates a progressive blend tuned to celebrate the best of trad, funk and electronica, a modern sound for a modern world. It is the band's highly successful trademark that has won them countless awards: ‘All we Have Is Now’ and ‘For the Night’ were judged Best Album of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards in 2022 and 2017 respectively; while 2018 saw them win the Live Act Of The Year award also at the Scots Trad Music Awards.
Also acclaimed by magazines and critics alike, while there are fans from every corner of the planet praying to see them play live, the band is gearing up for a record-breaking performance at the Main Stage, the kind not to be missed for any reason in the world.
